Our teams follow a remote first approach and have a mix of people working fully remote and hybrid office/remote. You will directly influence our players and the experience they have when using our Sportsbook, working in a modern agile environment to deliver software. All in all this new Ontario only platform not only with Party Poker but all platforms has destroyed poker for us Ontario residents.The Role: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our iOS Applications teams. There are so few players, so few cash games, barely any tournaments, and none of the good larger million dollar plus sized ones available. This location issue aside, as I can simply suck it up and play on my Ipad instead I find the play terrible by comparison now that we are in this "ringed in" Ontario only play. They keep trying to make this out to be a problem on my end and not fix what is so obviously an issue with their software since so many of us are experiencing the same issue. I have attempted to get IT help from Party Poker to no avail. I keep getting the message "we are unable to verify you are in Ontario" I live in Toronto more or less in the middle of Ontario and have been living and playing in Ontario for over 15 yers on Party Poker so it is just silly. Same issue, Party Poker can only verify I am in Ontario on my Ipad or Iphone, but I prefer to play on my Desktop or Laptop both of which they can not verify.
